The IRU Academy Road Transport Management Programme is modular, with each section covering a topic that would be expected of someone operating at a functional expert level in a transport operation. There are seven core modules in the programme, and although individually they provide a unique level of knowledge, together they form the basis of what we consider to be the requirements of a ‘World Class Transport Operator’.
The course is made up of modules delivered over five days through a mix of classroom training, workshops and self-study. Participants interact regularly, sharing their knowledge and experience through discussions and activities. The course’s format offers a unique opportunity to engage with peers and thus build knowledge networks through exchange of experience.
Subjects covered:
- Strategic and operational management
- Health and safety in transport operations
