Programme Overview
Chemical and Dangerous Goods Driver Training (CDG- DT) is part of the National Upskilling Initiative of Malaysian government under the 12th Malaysian Plan. ASIL- IRU in collaboration with several Malaysian government agencies has identified this Agreement Concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road (ADR) based certification course for Malaysian chemical and dangerous goods drivers.
Upon completion of this course, successful participants will be awarded with a Certificate of Professional Competence in ADR. The ADR certification is a recognized document that help Malaysian DG Cargo drivers to cross ASEAN Member States seamlessly under the ASEAN Framework Agreement and Facilitation of Goods in Transit (AFAFGIT) and meeting the ASEAN protocol 9, transit and transportation of dangerous goods.

Traininig Duration: 5 days
The programme provides in-depth coverage of the ADR agreement with candidates taking part in practical exercises, case studies and discussion.
Each programme is tailored to its specific audience, emphasising risk prevention at the warehouse or on the road. Course materials are regularly updated to reflect changes in the ADR agreement.
Participants receive the IRU Academy Transport of Dangerous Goods certificate when they have completed the course and passed the exam.
